Northern Trust has named Ghislaine Austin as new regional head of Northern Trust Wealth Management in Atlanta, replacing Bob Meier.
In her new role, Austin will lead the company’s wealth management business in Georgia, with the strategic focus of continuing to serve clients and build the business in Georgia and the surrounding states.

Additionally, Austin will also serve as a member of Northern Trust Wealth Management’s East Region operating group and East Region business leadership council.
Austin has joined Northern Trust from Wells Fargo, where he served as regional investment manager. He was also a member of the private bank management team for the Southeast Region.
Prior to this, Austin worked as a senior vice president and regional manager in Evergreen Private Asset Management. She has over 30 years of wealth management experience in serving the asset management needs of high-net-worth and institutional investors.
