Northern Trust Asset Management has hired John Krieg as new global head of institutional distribution.
Based in Chicago, Krieg will oversee the development and implementation of investment solutions for clients spanning regions and markets.

In addition, he will also head the global institutional sales and consultant relations teams.
Krieg, most recently served as managing director for asset management for the EMEA region at Northern Trust. He also served as Northern Trust Corporation’s director of global investment product management.
Krieg joined Northern Trust in 2002 from TimesSquare Capital Management, where he served as director of relationship management and fixed income products. Prior to this, he held sales and relationship management roles with Credit Suisse Asset Management, Hewitt Associates and Towers Perrin.
