Northern Trust has appointed Sarah Boddey as its new chief diversity officer for Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC).

Boddey will be tasked with spearheading the firm’s diversity and inclusion strategy in this region.

She will be based in London and will report to Northern Trust head of corporate social responsibility and global diversity and inclusion Connie Lindsey.

Boddey has an overall experience of over 13 years in the legal, professional services, banking and insurance industries.

She most recently worked at AIG, where she served for about three years in the role of diversity & inclusion-EMEA.

She earlier also served as head of diversity and inclusion at Barclays Wealth.
