American investment management firm Northern Trust has named Roberta Elaine Ruddy as vice president, international relationship manager for its office in San Diego, California.

Ruddy will work within the firm’s San Diego-based wealth advisory team headed by regional president John Ippolito.

Ruddy will be responsible for strategic business development with multinational focus, cross-cultural teamwork and collaboration for families moving wealth over jurisdictions and generations. She will report to the firm’s international wealth advisory services senior vice president in Houston, Texas Richard Martinez.

Ruddy, who has an experience of more than 25 years in the financial industry, most recently served as the wealth management international director at Royal Bank of Canada.

“Roberta brings to Northern Trust deep expertise in serving high-net-worth individuals and families, and creating investment plans that will help achieve their unique goals,” Martinez stated.
