Northern Trust Asset Management has appointed Hazel McNeilage as new managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in an effort to focus on building relationships with institutional clients across the region.
Based in London, McNeilage will be reporting to Wayne Bowers, head of Northern Trust Asset Management, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

In her new role, McNeilage will be responsible for institutional business development and relationship management across the region and forms part of the leadership team for Northern Trust Asset Management’s business in EMEA.
McNeilage, who has over 30 years of financial services experience across Australia, South Africa, Asia, the United States, and Europe, has previously held roles including head of funds management for a large sovereign fund and head of a regional investment consulting business as well as other senior investment management roles.
Bowers said: "Hazel brings deep knowledge of asset management coupled with strong board governance experience, and her leadership will continue to position us for growth across the region."
