Northern Trust Asset Management has appointed Marie Dzanis to the newly created role of head of its EMEA business.
Dzanis will serve as the firm’s senior managing executive in the region, based in London.

As EMEA head, she will oversee governance, business management, business development along with talent management. She will also support the corporation-wide initiatives of the group in the region.
Prior to the new appointment, she served as the head of intermediary distribution in Chicago at Northern Trust Asset Management. In this role, she headed business development and client service.
Dzanis, who has an experience of 25 years in the investment management sector, also serves as a board director for Northern Trust Global Investments.
Dzanis held diverse roles in her career. These roles covered securities lending and trading, exchange traded funds, sales and branch management, as well as product development.
