Northern Trust, a provider of investment management, asset and fund administration services, has appointed William Mak as head of the Asia-Pacific region.
Mak succeeds Teresa Parker, who will assume a key strategic role at the company’s headquarters in Chicago.

Northern Trust chairman and CEO Frederick Waddell said that Mak’s experience and market knowledge in global custody, asset servicing and asset management makes him a valuable leader to maintain the company’s organic growth and strong client relationships in Asia-Pacific region.
Mak previously held positions of Singapore country manager and head of South East Asia region in Northern Trust.
Prior to joining Northern Trust, Mak was with BNY Mellon, ABN AMRO, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore in the Monetary and Reserve Management Division.
