As the MD, Gill will be based at Northern Trust’s headquarters at Chicago and will be responsible for overseeing the growth of the business, which currently serves more than 160 clients with assets under management (AUM) of approximately US$5 billion.
Gill has more than 20 years of investment experience and has worked with both institutional and wealth management clients.

Most recently, he had served as a senior investment officer in the Foundation & Institutional Advisors group, managing a team of portfolio managers within the Central Region.
Gill had joined Northern Trust in 2007 as a senior portfolio manager, prior to which he served as a chief investment officer at Cole Taylor Bank.
