Northern Trust Asset Management has appointed Shundrawn Thomas to lead ETF and mutual fund groups and Jason Tyler to head client solutions.
Currently leading the FlexShares exchange-traded fund (ETF) business, Thomas will expand his responsibilities to overlook all fund activities, including Northern Funds, Northern Institutional Funds and financial intermediary distribution.

Tyler will head the Client Solutions unit assuming responsibilities of institutional sales, client relationship management and advisory services, joining asset management business. Tyler was earlier working as head of Corporate Strategy and Market Development with Northern Trust.
Northern Trust Asset Management president Stephen Potter said the organizational changes align the company’s Asset Management activities with strong growth potential under dynamic and strategic leadership.
