Sweden-based Nordea Bank has opened a private banking branch in Singapore to serve the growing community of Nordic individuals in Asia, according to ScandAsia.com.

The new branch will be headed by Eric Pedersen, who started his career as an analyst in the bank’s treasury department and has also worked in senior roles within asset management and private banking.

The Singapore team is comprised of experienced, senior private bankers with financial market expertise who are supported by qualified operational staff. In the team of account managers are Jonas Bergqvist, Haavard Farstad, and Kim Osborg Nielsen.
