Nordea Asset Management, the asset management arm of Nordea Bank, has appointed Mathias Leijon as head of Fundamental Equities in Stockholm.
In his new role, Leijon will be responsible for overseeing a range of Swedish equity funds including: Nordea Småbolagsfond Nordea, Nordea Småbolagsfond Sverige, Nordea Swedish stars, Nordea Indexfond Sverige, Nordea Sverigefond, Nordea PB Sverige Plus, Nordea Selekta Sverige and Nordea Alfa.

Leijon was previously senior investment manager for European Equities at Swiss manager Pictet, Leijon has also worked at Cheuvreux, Stena and Swedb.
