Borrie will take up the new role on 1 March 2017, and will also join the firm’s international management committee. She will report to the CEO of NN Investment Partners.

“Hester’s appointment is in line with NN IP’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its position in selected international markets where client demand is strong,” the firm said.

Borrie has two decades of experience in the investment management industry, mainly in global sales and marketing in the Dutch market as well as internationally.

She previously spent about seven years as a member of the management board at Dutch asset manager Robeco Group, and as head of distribution EMEA at Morgan Stanley Asset Management.
