A new hedge-fund firm, Gemsstock, has been set up in the UK by former UBS Russia strategist Al Breach, former UBS’ joint venture trading head Charles Hill and UFG Asset Management managing partner Florian Fenner.
According to the filings made at UK’s Companies House, former Goldman Sachs Group sales executive Mayumi Yamaguchi is appointed as a director for the new firm.

Fenner will remain principal at UFG Asset Management as well as a director of Gemsstock, according to Bloomberg.
Breach left Russia after quitting in 2007 as head of research at UBS, where he was also a strategist and economist.
The new firm was incorporated in September 2013.
