Neuberger Berman Trust Company, a subsidiary of US-based investment manager Neuberger Berman, has appointed Richard Gardiner as CIO.

He will join asset allocation committee of the firm, and will lead the company’s investment strategy group.

Gardiner will work closely with Neuberger Berman’s wealth advisors and trust officers on HNW individual and foundation and endowment customers.

Gardiner joined the firm from Reservoir Capital Group, where he served as a consultant, CIO and co-founder. Previously, he also held various roles at Man Investments, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
