Neuberger Berman, an independent asset management firm, has launched three emerging market debt funds under its Irish-domiciled Ucits funds umbrella.
The three EMD funds will target hard currency bonds, local currency bonds and corporate bonds respectively, which will all have sterling share classes.

The Emerging Market Debt Hard Currency fund will be managed by Bart van der Made and will invest in emerging market bonds issued in hard currency, using a top-down and bottom-up strategy.
Raoul Luttik will manage the Emerging Market Debt Local Currency fund which will seek to benefit from high and/or declining local interest rates and the potential for currency appreciation.
The Emerging Market Debt Corporate Debt fund will be managed by Nish Popat and Jennifer Gorgoll and will primarily invest in hard currency corporate debt.
The managers are part of Neuberger Berman’s 23 person dedicated emerging market debt team which joined in earlier 2013.
