Neuberger Berman has hired 19 executives from ING to form the majority of a new EMD team.

Among the 22 new hires for Neuberger Berman’s new EMD team on the whole, 12 are portfolio managers, six credit analysts and four are economists and strategists.

The new EMD team will be based across the US, Europe and Asia. This team will be headed by former ING co-heads Rob Drijkoningen and Gorky Urquieta. Fund managers Bart van der Made, Raoul Luttik and Prashant Singh have joined the firm recently.

The new EMD team will be part of a fixed income platform that has more than 100 investment professionals and is led by chief investment officer of fixed income Brad Tank.
