Neuberger Berman has expanded its global real estate securities group by appointing Gillian Tiltman as new portfolio manager for Europe.

Based in London, Tiltman will report to Steve Shigekawa, senior portfolio manager, and head of the Neuberger Berman Global Real Estate Securities Group.

In his new role, Tiltman will construct and manage assets invested in Europe within global real estate.

Tiltman move will further expand the firm’s global REIT capabilities and follows the recent appointment of Anton Kwang as a portfolio manager for the Asia Pacific region based in Hong Kong.

Tiltman has joined Neuberger Berman from M&G Investments in London where she served as a portfolio manager for a global real estate securities fund since past four years and also served as a fund analyst for two years.

Prior to this, Tiltman served as an analyst at Municipal Housing Finance Investment Banking in NY. She started her career in 2004 at Deutsche Bank Securities, New York, where she was a member of the product management team.
