Neuberger Berman has poached Jon Jonsson from JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) to work as managing director and senior portfolio manager for the firm’s global fixed income strategies.
In this newly created role, Jonsson will be based in London and will report to Andrew Johnson, head of investment grade fixed income.
The new role will see him help manage US$58 billion assets across fixed income funds.

Jonsson was most recently head of global aggregate strategies at JP Morgan Asset Management, where he worked for 15 years.
Since 2008, Jonsson had responsibility for US$14 billion in assets under management across relative return, total return and absolute return strategies at JPMAM.
Jonsson has previously held roles such as senior quantative analyst, head of the short-term portfolio management team in New York and head of portfolio management team at the US firm’s London office.
