netwealth has named Paul O’Connor as new head of investment management and research, effective 19 May 2014.
In his new role, O’Connor will oversee netwealth’s research, its model portfolios; the global specialist series (GSS) managed funds and the recently-launched managed account service, reported Finacial Standard.

O’Connor has joined netwealth from Challenger, where he was responsible for supporting national key accounts and managing the relationship with rating agencies across annuity and Fidante funds.
Prior to this, he worked at OC Funds Management in investment and product consulting. Previously, he also served as director of fund services at Standard & Poor’s and head of investment research at IOOF.
