London-based Neptune Investment Management has appointed Stewart Cowley as its new fixed income consultant.
Cowley will assume the new role in September, and will be responsible for advising Neptune CEO Robin Geffen and chief economist James Dowey on the fixed income allocation of the Neptune Balanced fund.

"Stewart Cowley brings with him a wealth of experience and I am confident that his knowledge of the industry and deep understanding of fixed income markets will prove valuable to Neptune," Geffen stated.
He will also join the investment committee of Neptune’s private wealth business, which is expected to be launched later in 2016 following FCA nod.
Cowley previously worked at Old Mutual Global Investors, where he served as head of fixed income and macro till his departure in 2015.
He also held senior executive roles at Invesco, Hill Samuel Asset Management and Newton Investment Management.
