Establishment of the new office follows the opening of Nautilus Fiduciary Mauritius Limited in early December 2013.

Commenting on the launch, Jason Cowleard managing director Nautilus Trust Company said that the establishment of Nautilus Fiduciary Mauritius Limited will enable it to continue offering exceptional service across multiple jurisdictions to its increasingly globally mobile client base.

"Our move into Hong Kong was also a strategic business decision due to its growing influence as a gateway to Asia. Hong Kong’s Trust Law (Amendment) Bill 2013, which came into operation on 1st December, has brought the Hong Kong legislation much more in line with the equivalent laws in Singapore and England and looks likely to drive business back into Hong Kong from other jurisdictions," Cowleard added.

Incorporated in 1999, Nautilus specialises in the establishment and management of trusts and companies, and also offers financial solutions to assist with wealth management.
