National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed Sean Allen as the general manager of its Godfrey Pembroke dealer group.
Allen replaces Peter Smith, who will now serve as the manager of Advice Partnerships at NAB Wealth.

Smith said, "Sean has an impressive record of success when it comes to advice leadership, strategy development and execution, product distribution and investment management."
With about 25 years of experience in financial services industry, Allen previously served as the state manager of the MLC Advice Solutions business in New South Wales.
Prior to MLC, he worked in several senior positions with BT, Colonial First State and Westpac.
Allen said, "I have been an admirer of Godfrey Pembroke for a long time because of its standing in the market on fees, transparency and quality advice,"
