Multrees Investor Services, a UK-based custody and consolidated reporting specialist for wealth managers, has appointed former Fidelity UK CEO Hugh Mullan as its new non-executive director.
Mullan has extensive experience in investment and retail savings businesses, and knowledge in financial services operations and technology.

At Fidelity Worldwide Investment, Mullan served as head of the UK business since 2008.
Before that, he served at Barclays Wealth in the role of both chief operating officer of the investment and product unit and global head of operations.
His other stints include senior business and operations roles at Schroders and Citibank.
Referring to Mullan’s appointment, Multrees CEO Chris Fisher commented, "His new role will provide an ideal aid for our chief operating officer, Clive Stelfox, and chief technology officer, Jaco Cebula, as we grow and scale our business efficiently in our core target markets."
