Offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes, Guernsey, has announced the appointment of Barney Lee as a corporate partner.

Lee will be joining the firm as a partner in its Guernsey corporate practice. It is currently a group partner and head of the corporate and commercial practice at Appleby in Guernsey.

However, before joining Appleby, he spent five years in the Guernsey office of Mourant Ozannes. Lee has specialized in investment funds, finance and general corporate work and has a proven track record of building and leading highly effective client focused teams. Legal directory Chambers Global 2013 lists Barney as a ‘key individual’ and reports that he is ‘in demand’ from clients for his ‘commerciality and attention to detail’.
