Motif Investing has raised funds of nearly $35m from a group of investors, including JP Morgan Chase & Co., Wicklow Capital, and Balderton Capital, amidst plans for global expansion.

Other investors such as Goldman Sachs, Foundation Capital, Ignition Partners, and Norwest Venture Partners, who had previously invested in the company, have also joined the funding efforts.

Motif Investing CEO and co-founder Hardeep Walia said that the financial support from JPMorgan Chase, Balderton, and Goldman Sachs has equipped the company to strengthen investor confidence and boost participation in public markets globally.

Meanwhile, Motif is intending to debut wealth management services aimed at retail investors and advisors.

The company is also keen to leverage its UK fund Balderton Capital to capitalize on the rapid US adoption as a part of its plan to expand across global markets.
