Morgan Stanley has appointed Lisa Cregan as the new Mid-Atlantic regional director for its wealth management business, based in Washington, DC.

Cregan replaces Drew Hawkins, who was recently appointed as the head of the new Global Sports and Entertainment Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.

Mid-Atlantic region includes six complexes and 40 branch offices spanning from northern Virginia to Northern Ohio and encompassing the Washington, DC/Annapolis, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cleveland metropolitan areas.

Cregan will report to Richard Skae, northeast division director. Skae said, "Lisa Cregan is an accomplished leader – passionate about serving clients, developing the professional skills of our people and advancing women in finance. She will do an excellent job leading our Mid-Atlantic Region."

Prior to accepting the current role, Cregan served as a Complex Manager in Houston, Texas. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2010; and spent 27 years at UBS and a predecessor firm, Paine Webber.
