The fund will be managed by an independent financial services firm, Perella Weinberg Partners, which has $8.2bn assets under management.
Morgan Stanley Fund and Fund-Linked business managing director and global head David Armstrong said that a wide range of alternative strategies in a UCITS format have been added to FundLogic Alternatives Platform in less than a year.
"The launch of the MS Perella Weinberg Partners T?kum Long/Short Healthcare UCITS Fund adds an outstanding option to gain exposure to a new sector focused strategy," Armstrong added.
FundLogic was launched in 2006 and is the platform brand name for Morgan Stanley UCITS and non-UCITS fund solutions.
