Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) said that Jeffrey Lipton has joined MUFG as Managing Director of Corporate Advisory in the Investment Banking and Markets Group.
Lipton will be responsible for supporting the general industries coverage effort.

He is based in New York and reports to Robert Smock, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Advisory at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Union Bank.

Lipton was most recently Managing Director at a boutique merchant bank. Before that he was at Jefferies where in 2003 he founded and ran the CleanTech effort.
Before joining Jefferies, Lipton worked at Morgan Stanley and Schroder’s & Co. across multiple industry sectors, including general industrials, chemicals, and healthcare. Prior to that he was a corporate attorney and practiced securities and M&A law.
