Merrill Lynch has lured a team of two financial advisors from UBS Financial Services that managed more than $175m in client assets.
The team, which includes Michael Calvin and Guy Clayton, will join Merrill’s office in Lakeway, Texas.

The duo will report to complex director Angelo Ciardella.
The team previously had generated about $1m in annual fees and commissions. Calvin and Clayton formerly served as senior vice president and vice president respectively at UBS.
Prior to joining UBS, Calvin worked with Merrill Lynch and also at PrimeVest Financial Services from 1995 to 1998.
