Mercer, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, has appointed Lisa Sun as its new managing director and market leader for ASEAN region.
Sun, who joins Mercer from Zurich Insurance Group, will report to Gaurav Garg, regional president of growth markets, as well as joining the regional leadership team.

Commenting on the appointment, Garg said: "With the multiple skill sets, an innovative and customer centric approach, we are confident that Sun will be able to build on strong foundations and enhance the value proposition for our clients across the ASEAN market."
Lisa Sun succeeds Su-Yen Wong, who has been appointed as senior advisor for Mercer and Oliver Wyman, its sister company.
In her new role, Wong will work closely with colleagues at Mercer and Oliver Wyman to develop business opportunities across the consulting segments for both companies.
She will also continue in her role as Marsh & McLennan chairman for Singapore and Wong will report to Garg and Christian Edelmann, who leads Asia Pacific for Oliver Wyman.
