Hargreave will be joined by equity managers Guy Feld and David Walton to run the fund.

The fund is expected to boost the capital growth of the FTSE SmallCap Index.

The new fund, with a minimum investment of £1,000 has an ongoing charge of 1.52 %.

The decision to launch this fund comes from the success of the Marlborough UK Micro-Cap Growth Fund, which he co-manages with Guy Feld.
