Maples Fund Services has opened a new office in Boston in a bid to boost its presence in North America and strengthen its brand and offering in the US market.

The new full-service Boston office will serve both US domestic and offshore funds seeking to be serviced by a Maples Fund Services team present in the US.

The new office will offer the firm access to an integrated community of hedge fund, fund of hedge fund, and private equity managers located in Boston.

The Boston office will be led by Jason Brandt, regional head of fund services North America, who will continue to manage the entire North American fund services business.

Brandt will be joined by Domenic Rinella, senior vice president, and Joshua Poirier, vice president, have in Boston to focus on client relationship management and to serve Maples Fund Services’ growing US client base.

Brandt said: "Our Boston office will provide us further opportunity to diversify our service offering with universities, endowments, family offices and private equity firms, which are heavily concentrated in Boston.
