Maples Fiduciary, a division of MaplesFS and a provider of specialised fiduciary and corporate administration services, has opened a full-service office in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
MaplesFS regional head of fiduciary Europe Tom Davies said: “Recently we have seen our clients looking for a MaplesFS service offering in Amsterdam, as they have noticed consolidation in the jurisdiction’s fiduciary market and, as a result, increasingly limited choice of premier service providers on the ground. We are delighted to now be able to offer a Netherlands solution in response to their needs.”

The Amsterdam office will be led by Jan Hendrik Siemssen, senior vice president at MaplesFS.
Earlier, Siemssen held senior roles at a number of Dutch trust companies where he was responsible for various operational and product divisions covering structured finance, securities lending, risk management and corporate trust.
MaplesFS CEO Scott Somerville said: “With Jan Hendrik at the helm, we will be able to further capitalise on potential opportunities and expand our global footprint, while providing in-depth understanding of the local market and outstanding service to our existing client base in the region.”
