Manulife Hong Kong has appointed Mark Van den Broek as new vice president and chief information officer.

In his new role, Broek will oversee the Hong Kong Information Service (HKIS) team in the planning and implementation of firms IT systems in support of the Hong Kong business operations.
In addition, Broek will be also responsible for providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing IT initiatives at the regional level as a member of the Asia IT and operations leadership team.
Prior to joining Manulife, Broek has held several senior management roles with AXA Asia, where he was most recently regional CIO responsible for firm's IT strategy, delivery, security and operations for all business units across the Asia region.
He has 18 years of experience in IT and operations with expertise in investment management, wealth management, life, health, property and casualty insurance domains.
