Manulife has hired three senior executives Ivan Chan, Kenneth Luk and Martin Lau in Hong Kong.
Chan will join the firm as assistant vice-president, business development, and individual financial products.

In his new role, Chan will focus on expanding the firm’s individual insurance business in Hong Kong, and marketing its insurance products via agency and other distribution channels.
Luk will join Manulife Hong Kong as assistant vice-president, marketing and customer service while Lau will join as assistant vice-president, Greater China development at Manulife Asia.
In his new role, Luk will plan strategies and strengthen communications for customer-centric marketing programmes related to customer marketing, digital marketing and customer call centres, while Lau will support the company’s strategic initiatives for its Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan business units, and closely monitor emerging business opportunities in the region.
Chan, who joined Manulife in 1999, most recently served as assistant vice-president, field management with Manulife Hong Kong. Previously, he also served as chief agency development officer of Manulife Insurance Berhad, Malaysia in 2011.

Lau, who has joined Manulife in 2007, most recent served as assistant vice-president, Asia corporate development. Prior to this, he has served in various roles and business units within Manulife, including investments, corporate, Asia division regional office, and Manulife-Sinochem Life.
