Manulife Asset Management has hired Allan Hutton as new managing director of business development for Ontario.
Based in Toronto, Hutton will report to Adam Neal, senior managing director, Canadian head of institutional sales & relationship management.

Hutton joined Manulife from Hillsdale Investment Management of Toronto, where he most recently worked as vice president, institutional investment services.
Prior to this, he worked with Twenty-First Century Investments as manager, consulting services and also held roles with Ernst & Young Investment Advisers, and The Canada Life Assurance Company.
Neal said: "Allan is client-focused and solutions-oriented and brings to Manulife Asset Management a depth of experience in institutional business development and client relationships. He will be an important contributor for us as we continue to invest in our distribution capabilities and grow our business."
