Manulife has reportedly hired Bruno Lee as Asia head of partnership, product and platform development for wealth and asset management team.

Based in Hong Kong, Lee will report to Michael Dommermuth, Manulife AM Asia head of wealth and asset management, AsianInvestor has reported.

In his new role, Lee will be responsible for expanding intermediary channels, securing new partners, developing wholesaling capabilities and managing Manulife’s product suite as well as Asia investment management services (IMS) team

Lee’s work will also involve manager selection, performance monitoring and review of managers across Asia platforms as a part of running Manulife’s Asia investment management services (IMS) team.

Previously, Lee worked as Asia ex-Japan head of retail with Fidelity. Prior to that, he worked at HSBC as Asia-Pacific head of wealth management.

He also worked at Fidelity early on in his career before taking up the position of Invesco Taiwan CEO, which he held for two years, according to the publication.
