London-based Majedie Asset Management is planning to launch a new US equity fund in June this year.
To launch the new fund, the firm has hired Adrian Brass as fund manager from Fidelity Worldwide Investment.

In his new role, Brass will also co-manage two new global equity funds, the Global Equity Fund and the Global Focus Fund alongside Tom Record, Yuri Khodjamirian and Tom Morris.
Additionally, he will also manage the new US Equity Fund. All three funds are scheduled to launch in June this year.
Prior to joining Majedie, Brass worked at Fidelity since 2006 and managed a global consumer sector fund at Fidelity and also managed the FAST US Fund since 2013.
Before to this, he managed various global equity funds at Investec Asset Management since 2000. Brass has joined Investec from Schroders, where he served as a UK and then pan-European analyst.
