The Equity Fund will hold between 70 and 120 holdings, while the Focus Fund will be a more concentrated version, containing 30-60 holdings.

The funds will be managed by a four-member team including new hires Tom Record from Baillie Gifford, who joins the firm as an emerging markets specialist, and Adrian Brass, who joined from Fidelity.

The new recruits will work alongside Tom Morris and Yuri Khodjamirian, who joined Majedie in 2009.
