Lombard Odier has appointed Jean-Louis Nakamura as chief investment officer for the Asia-Pacific region.
Nakamura will deliver risk-based investment strategies for clients. Previously, Nakamura was deputy CIO for Lombard Odier Investment Managers, the bank’s institutional asset management arm. He was based in Geneva until January.

Nakamura will now report to Vincent Duhamel, head of Lombard Odier for Asia-Pacific.
Duhamel said: "Jean-Louis brings a wealth of investment experience and has, over the last four years, pioneered Lombard Odier’s risk-based expertise which concentrates on helping clients to achieve their long-term investment goals while minimizing drawdowns."
