The offerings, which include Fixed Income and Equity strategies – both Global and European, are designed to decarbonise portfolios and expedite the transition to a more sustainable economy.

The TargetNetZero Global Equity and TargetNetZero European Equities strategies are designed as low tracking error strategies. They tilt the MSCI World and MSCI Europe indices towards companies in climate-relevant sectors adhering to the Paris Agreement decisions.
Similarly, it will also tilt away from companies in the same sectors which fails to reduce carbon footprint or align with transition goals.
The TargetNetZero Global Investment Grade Credit and TargetNetZero Euro Investment Grade Credit strategies are high tracking-error credit strategies with a low turnover approach.
It focuses on emissions-reducing companies aligned with the Paris Agreement targeting a higher level of yield than the investment grade index. The strategies will utilise Lombard Odier IM’s credit and sustainable research to assess the credit-worthiness of the underlying issuers.

“Although the industry has started to understand the urgency around decarbonisation, many of the solutions available in the market are simplistic, don’t sufficiently address the problem and (in some cases) significantly increase the risks and biases within portfolios.
“Carbon footprints alone do not tell us the full picture of climate risks in a portfolio. We believe that maintaining a diversified portfolio that identifies companies on a strong decarbonisation path, irrespective of sector, will help accelerate the transition to net zero and provide compelling returns for investors.”
