Based in Geneva, Peterkin will report to Gregor MacIntosh, head of rates, and will be responsible for the business’ range of sovereign strategies with a particular focus on LOIM’s Total Return Bond Fund.

Peterkin was most recently at Ignis Asset Management where he co-managed their absolute return government bond strategy.
He previously worked at Citigroup in Australia as a proprietary trader and until mid-2010 worked with MacIntosh at Standard Life where they won numerous awards for their funds’ performance.
MacIntosh said: "His strong track record and skill-set in global bond and derivative markets will be a valuable contribution to the continued alpha generation our total return strategies deliver to clients."
LOIM, a unit of Lombard Odier Group, managed CHF38 billion on behalf of clients at the end of December 2012. The firm offers thematic investments, convertibles funds, fundamentally weighted fixed income products, asset allocation and single-manager hedge funds.
