Lombard International Assurance has named Christoph Habluetzel as new head for Switzerland in a move to support its Swiss growth strategy.
In his new role, Habluetzel will be responsible for further developing and growing the firm’s wealth management activity and commercial strategy from its base in Switzerland, incorporating the German, French and Italian speaking regions.

Prior to joining Lombard International Assurance, Habluetzel worked with Coutts & Co as head Swiss onshore.
Habluetzel, who has over 26 years in insurance and in the wealth management industry in Switzerland, also worked as branch manager at Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse), responsible for the Swiss and EMEA wealth management activities.
