Lombard International Assurance, a provider of wealth structuring solutions, has named Paul Upchurch as the new COO for its European business.
Upchurch will be responsible for driving digital innovation, operations and capital investments across the European operations of the firm. He will head a team covering client services, investment administration, IT and change functions.

He will also become a member of the senior management team and will be engaged in developing and implementing the firm’s European growth strategy.
He will be based in Luxembourg and report to the firm’s Europe CEO Axel Horger.
Upchurch most recently worked as the executive director of the portfolio operations group at Blackstone, and prior to that held the role of executive vice president for professional services at Nielsen.
