He will lead the teams in Switzerland and Dubai and will focus on increasing Lloyds TSB Private Banking activity and profile in the Middle East.
Previously, Valgimigli has worked for nearly 29 years at Barclays, which included 10 years in corporate finance and large corporate insolvency before joining the Bank’s Middle East private banking business 19 years ago.
Further, apart from covering client families across the region, he has also led teams in London, Geneva and Monaco, helping to build significant client bases in the Middle East.
In 2008, he was based in Qatar, where he returned in 2011 to head the private wealth business there.
