Wealth management company Lincoln Private Investment Office has lured wealth managers Ben Stern and Stephen Kattou from Barclays Wealth to boost its investment expertise and grow its client base.

Stern will join Lincoln Private as a partner, while Kattou will join as an adviser.

Stern, who has 17 years’ experience in wealth management, previously served as a senior director at Barclays, where he advised HNW families and institutions. He was also a member of the UK investment committee.

In his new role, Kattou will be responsible for advising private clients at Lincoln as well as for building out the firm’s advisory investment proposition.

Kattou with seven years’ industry experience previously worked as a private banker in Barclays Wealth UK division where he was responsible for a HNW client base.

He also worked in the London discretionary portfolio management team as well as contributed to the development of the Barclays’ South African business, ABSA Wealth.
