UK- based Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) has named Paul So as new head of index funds for Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Hong Kong, So will report jointly to Ali Toutounchi, global head of index funds at LGIM and Alan Flynn, head of Asia-Pacific.
In his new role, Paul will create a team of index portfolio managers and traders in the region.
So has joined LGIM from Enhanced Investment Products, where he served as head of beta products for four years. Before to this, he worked with Blackrock’s portfolio management group as a director.
Previously, he also worked at Barclays Global Investors (BGI) as head of portfolio management Asia ex-Japan. He started his career as an analyst at Mercer Investment Consulting.
