UAE-based LEORON Professional Development Institute has partnered with the UK-based Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) to strengthen its finance program portfolio.
The collaboration will lead to addition of CISI’s many public courses, including the wealth management, investment, risk management and Islamic finance qualifications to LEORON Institute’s portfolio.

Commenting on the partnership, LEORON senior product development manager Ozal Hopi said that CISI’s programs will be a valuable addition that can improve existing skills in financial areas.
"The core focus of our initial CISI programs will provide professionals with the core competencies in advancing their existing skills in financial services through qualifications. In this regard, we aim to equip participants with an understanding of the external context in which the investment sector operates, how it is managed, as well as grasp the core analytical techniques that can be applied to decision-making processes within the business environment."
CISI director of global business development Kevin Moore said that he considers the agreement as an important precursor that will bring training possibilities which allow career progression in the financial services global job market.
