Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has named Rhodri Mason as new head of product, subject to regulatory approval.
Mason, who will assume his new role on 7 March 2016, will be responsible for overseeing the business’ product function across all product teams.

He will report to Aaron Meder, head of investment at LGIM.
Mason joined LGIM from Hermes Investment Management where he was head of investment solutions and product strategy.
Prior to that, he worked as head of UCITS management at Man Investments and has held product development roles at BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors and M&G Investments. Mason has 10 years of experience in product design across all major asset classes.
Meder said: "He will be responsible for continuing our efforts to build a centre of excellence for product strategy and development, and enhance our ability to innovate and achieve better outcomes for our clients."
