Lebenthal Wealth Advisors, the wealth management arm of Lebenthal Holdings, has opened a new office in Birmingham, Michigan.

Additionally, the firm has hired a financial adviser William Burke from Morgan Stanley to head and manage the new office.

The Birmingham office is the firm’s fourth office outside of New York.

Burke, who began his career in 1983 as an account executive at E.F. Hutton, was involved in the sale of variable rate demand bonds servicing wealthy individuals and also led the E.F. Hutton’s Detroit Renaissance Center office for the sale of corporate cash management products.

Lebenthal Wealth Advisors chairman and CEO Frank Campanale said: "There is a renaissance occurring in Michigan, led by new development in the metropolitan Detroit area, and I believe that Lebenthal will be well-positioned to participate in its growth."
